i am a final student in a university doing a double degree. a turning point in the four and a half of my study is the realisation that
1. studying to get a degree is not a way out to a meaningful life
2. working for the sake of living is not living life to the fullest
to thrive in life, i believe that we have to meet the right kind of people. those that can provide you the motivation to make to pursue a life of meaning. with them, we can keep up with our interest in life and pursue excellency in return.
as i am interested in economics and finance, i've decided to set up this page and write a little about the practical stuff that i know about economics and finance.
to me the general problem about learning in a university is that the things learned
1. is highly theoretical
2. lack practical usage
if you have been through a 5 years course like i do and do not have any interest in creation of knowledge (research) but is more interested in the implications of those findings (practical). that's why I choose the name "praktisk ekonomi", a swedish word for practical finance. (according to google translate at least)
my area of interest mainly lies in
1. social and humanity sciences - psychology, behavioural finance, economics
2. business and finance
3. Technology - only the business aspect of it
the good thing about reading my blog is that i spend a lot of time filtering the theoretical aspect of things and focuses on the practical side. it will save you a lot of time and you can expect me to write a lot about these stuff in the coming days or even years.
